スプレンディダでは、デッキ6、７のストランドシアターにて、毎晩２回無料のショーが開催されています。演目は日替わりなので、毎日見に行っても飽きないように工夫されています。17時と20時に開演で、1回の公演は30分程度。
Splendida has two free shows every night at the Strand Theater on decks 6, 7. Since the performance is daily, it is devised not to get bored even if you go to see it every day. 初日は、テーマが宇宙のショーでした。二日目はフレンチカンカン。若い娘がお尻をまくって踊っており（当然パンツは着用）、おやじどもおじ様方が大興奮で写真をバシバシ撮っていました。航海の途中、オペラ「カルメン」のダイジェスト版の上演もありました。
On the first day, the theme was a space show. The second day was a French Cancan. A young dancers were dancing rolls up the skirt (of course wearing underwear), and the middle-aged men were taking a photos with great excitement. During the voyage, there was also a digest version of the opera “Carmen”.
オペラ以外のショーは、ダンス（バレエやタップなど）、歌、筋肉芸、中国雑技（軟体芸）、ジャグリングなど様々な要素を盛り込んだ、短い時間の中で「ああ今日もショーを見たなあ！」という気分にさせられる楽しい内容となっています。質について色々コメントもあるようですが、毎日夕食の後（もしくは前）に、ライブでショーを見れるというのはクルーズ船ならではの贅沢ですよね。
毎日、司会のベントーニさんというイタリア人のおじさんが小話とともに登場し、その日のショーの内容を紹介してくれました。こちらのベントーにさん、なぜか自らアコーディオンを演奏しながら登場する時もあり、最後まで謎の人物でした。あの人はなんだったんだろう。
最終日前日のショーでは「ありがとう」と書いた光るプレートを付けた、スプレンディダのクルーの皆さんが壇上に上がり、感動的な雰囲気に。
The show is fun and includes various elements such as dance (ballet, tap, etc.), singing, muscle art, Chinese trivia (soft art) and juggling. Being able to watch live shows after dinner every day is a luxury of a cruise ship.
ショーは見たほうがいいよ！
船でショーは見たほうがいいの？と聞かれたら、迷わずわいはこう答えます。「どうせ暇なんだし、見とけって！」
